Learning Outcome 1

In a complex and changing society, the student designs hybrid urban experiences that safeguard and enhance public values, taking into account a diverse group of stakeholders, including the planet.
1.1 The student applies knowledge and design methods from various disciplines to create sustainable urban experiences in which the physical and digital are intertwined.
I have not worked with sustainable urban experiences before this minor, as this is my first experience combining physical and digital elements within this context.

1.2 The student maps the wants and needs of a diverse group of stakeholders using various research methods and translates this into requirements.
I have worked with stakeholder needs in several Game Development projects, including a boss fight game, a VR project for another study program, and my internship on an existing game.

1.3 The student tests and iterates the design using various prototypes in an urban context.
I have limited experience with testing and iterating designs in an urban context, as most of my projects have focused on game development rather than physical urban environments.

1.4 The student demonstrates the value of the design from the perspective of the different stakeholders.
I have some experience demonstrating design value from different stakeholder perspectives, but this is still an area I am developing further during my studies.

Learning Outcome 2

The student collaborates constructively in a transdisciplinary team and actively steers their own growth as a designer.
2.1 The student acquires knowledge from other disciplines and masters methods to develop new work.
During my Game Development studies, I gained valuable support and knowledge from my classmates, especially in my first year when I was new to programming. In my second year, I further expanded my skills in VR development and GitLab.

2.2 The student shares relevant knowledge and skills from their own discipline to help others develop new ways of working and thinking.
While working on a VR forensics project, I applied my biology and chemistry knowledge to help create a drug lab environment. My background in Biomedical Laboratory Research allowed me to contribute valuable subject expertise to the project.

2.3 The student formulates personal learning goals, plans activities around those learning goals, and monitors their own development.
Since starting my Game Development studies, I have set and worked toward personal learning goals every semester.

2.4 The student reflects on their own development, the transdisciplinary collaboration, and develops a vision of themselves as a designer.
I have not actively reflected on myself as a designer yet, as I have mainly focused on developing my technical skills and gaining experience throughout my studies.

2.5 The student demonstrates critical ability regarding their own contribution to the group work.
I have worked in teams since my first year of Game Development, which helped me become more aware of my contribution and role within group projects.
