Kim Kastermans
I’m a 20-year-old game developer currently in my second year of HBO ICT Game Development at the HVA. My journey into game development began around the age of 17-18, and since then, I’ve immersed myself in game art, while continuing to learn and grow in programming. Drawing has always been a passion of mine, and I’m constantly working to improve my skills. This blend of creativity and technical development is what drives my approach to creating engaging games.
I specialize in designing engaging experiences and environments, and I’m always eager to improve my skills in this area. I have a deep interest in how art and design shape the player experience, and I strive to create worlds that are visually captivating while offering immersive, meaningful gameplay. Whether it’s crafting environments, assets, or gameplay systems, I remain focused on how all these elements come together to tell a compelling story.
My aim is to continue blending my passion for art with my growing technical abilities to create innovative and memorable experiences. I’m excited about the future of game development and eager to contribute to this ever-evolving industry. While I’m still learning the ins and outs of programming, I’m passionate about improving my skills and contributing to both the design and technical aspects of game development. Whether it’s designing mechanics, creating stunning visual assets, or exploring new ways to enhance gameplay, I’m driven by a desire to craft experiences that leave a lasting impression on players.
