VR Forensics Investigation is an educational VR simulation developed for forensic science students. In this immersive training experience, players must investigate a hidden drug lab located in the basement of a stable. The goal is to identify illegal substances, document evidence through photography, and build a complete case. Designed to bridge classroom learning with hands-on practice, the game offers students a realistic and interactive environment to develop their investigative skills.

My contributions to the project so far include a combination of design, asset creation, and research. Working on this project has allowed me to take on a leadership role in the concepting phase and deepen my understanding of VR interaction design.

  • Leading the concepting process for key game elements, including the environment layout, tutorial structure, glove interaction mechanics, and a statistics tracking system for teachers.
  • Creating 3D assets for the game’s environment, focusing on building a believable and detailed crime scene.
  • Conducting research and development on the glove-based interaction system to ensure intuitive and realistic player controls within VR.
  • Collaborating with the team to align concepts with educational goals and ensure the final product meets the needs of forensic science training.

This project has given me valuable experience in both leading design discussions and translating research into practical gameplay solutions, especially in the context of VR development.
